Do I have right to edit the SMF default theme - curve in every way I like? It will not infringe copyright laws and stuff?
Can I edit everything as I wish and please?

the curve theme as well as 2.0+ are under the BSD license, you are welcome to do what you want without the guidelines of the BSD license
