I've fixed the spaces for you.

Can you post a link to your site and post any server logs with errors in them?

The column you mention is part of the table "members". It is there originally, what did you do recently to your forum? New mods?

Can you confirm via phpmyadmin if it is present in the table or not?

If the column is in the table, then there is something wrong in a script somewhere. Can you get to your forum's error log?
What are you doing when that error occurs?

Go to phpmyadmin, table prefix_log_error (I think it's like this, not in front of the computer). Check the last entries

What file/line does SMF show for that error? The error means that the query is expecting a value for the variable "member_ip2" but one isn't being sent.

Ok, let's start over, shall we?

I tested here. If I change the column name (to other thing than "member_ip2") the forum won't even load. So it's not like you
So, exactly, where is your error, and what error is it?

Also, what MODs do you have installed? You mention that members cannot register but this column is needed way before that. So it's probably something related to a MOD...

Again, what exactly is the error and when does it happen?
A print screen maybe?
