SMF Arcade runs just fine on SMF 2.0.6 but you have to use the updated version SMF Arcade 2.5 RC2 which is not the version on the modsite here.  Have a read of the last couple of pages of the mod support topic  http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=29619.0

I have tried the latest file & get this error

The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.

As you proceed, through the install, you'll see "Advanced". Click on that and tell it to emulate the version of SMF that the mod's advertised as being able to be used with.

Of course, before you do this, you WILL read my sig, won't you? ;)

Click it, if you need the "How".

also - support for specific mods should be requested in the support topic for that mod.

Again, you want the mod's support topic. :)

Try to give a bit of detail, though. What errors you're getting, what's happening that shouldn't be, what should be happening that isn't, that kinda thing.

I remember when I installed the arcade. The permissions were a nightmare!
