Title: Converting phpBB forum with mods..

I have a phpBB forum with some mods that modified the database such as the main ones I am wondering about being the sub-forum mod & unread flags mod... will the convertor work with these or what are my options here?

The converter currently doesn't work with either of those mods.

well the sub-forum mod comes bu default in smf.  child boards.

Well, yeah, SMF does have sub-boards, but the converter won't keep them as sub-boards... You'll have to re-do all those after converting to SMF.
