The current production site

The testing site with SMF 2.1.x

notice how some posts are blank. is this because of UTF-8 or something?

apparently its because those posts contain special characters. any way to fix this?

Did you tried to convert your 2.1 forum to UTF-8 ?

Maintenance > Forum Maintenance > Database

thanks, post are now there again but with some strange characters.

however, my current smf forum (2.0.9) is already UTF-8. therefore I shouldn't have had problems not?
