My team and I have come across an issue with editing posts our members have made. When we make and edit and save the topic the author changes to our own name instead of the original poster.

We are running SMF Version 2.0.9
That is the link to our forum, and we have SubAccounts active. As far as I can tell we don't have any mods that would cause this. Attached are three images of our Installed Mods. It happens when either Admin or Mods do it, and I have no idea of how to fix it.
Has anyone ever encountered this problem and found a solution?
Also, it seems that it happens when I edit my Mod's posts as well. However, not when they edit mine.
Definitely a mod related issue since this will never happen on a clean installation.
*nods* I'm sure that's the case. I'm hoping that someone may know which. I suspect the SubAccounts mod because of the in-posting drop down to select accounts - but I do not know of a way to fix it, and it hasn't always been happening.
Can you or have you tried uninstalling that mod and see if the problem changes?
Unfortunately because so many posts are made with the mod, the mod itself says that they need to be deleted before the mod can be uninstalled. Otherwise the accounts that make the posts will be deleted and we will have a bunch of author-less posts that can't be fixed. So, no - uninstalling SubAccounts isn't something we can try. However, we were using SubAccounts first and this wasn't always happening. Its a more recent occurrence and we haven't downloaded any new mods or installed anything.
I'm running Sub-Accounts on one of my forums, and have tried editing a post from someone else, and this does not happen on my site.
So, a list of the other mods used, would be nice.
He did post images of his other mods in his first post.
images of the mod list are less than useful..... a text list is more so.

Have you tried disabling that, whatever it is?
Have removed/uninstalled that mod and am testing. First edit made without it seems to have worked. Now testing the same with a topic posted as a SubAccount.

If so, I do not see how it would have that effect, but if so, you'd be best to post this issue into it's support topic for the mod author to look into.
I will do so - but as soon as I uninstalled it I had no issues with the editing.
