Except for coppermine, i have a site where people can post picture of their PSP homebrew software and i was wondering what gallery fits best for smf, i tried to use coppermine but i couldn't get it too work.

It's mainly about the features that you want. Currently Coppermine is the only option for those looking to tie it in with SMF (as far as I know anyway). I am working on a Gallery2 integration (see http://smf.oldiesmann.us/galleryproject for more on that) as well. Gallery2 has a lot more features than Coppermine, but Coppermine is easier to use for people who aren't real tech-savvy.
