Title: I can't upload the "installed.list" file from "Packages"
Post by: EstefanTT on August 22, 2015, 12:59:57 PM
Hello everyone, I'm new here but I have been reading this forum format for more than one year and it's amazing !

I want to intergrate it in my new webesite.

I downloaded the .zip, extract it and upload everything online in a "forum" folder online.

I have an error when trying to upload this file : installed.list. I have this message : "Browser error uploading installed.list"

It's weird that only one file can't be upload when all the others are.

Anyone has enconter the problem or may know how to complete the first step ?

You can upload the zip file and extract it in place on the server... this avoids uploading individual files

I installed a add on Google chrome to send files via FTP.

It doesn't allow me to extract the .zip file. Just simple things like copy, past, delete, rename.

Do you have access to cpanel?

The Cpannel of the hosting provider ? Yes

Edit : I found in the Cpannel the way to extract it, thanks ;) (I'm a total noob in this)
