Title: Problem with phpBB2 to SMF 1.0.5: No Posts
Post by: Washi on October 21, 2005, 04:14:03 PM
Hi,

I'm having a weird problem. I have a phpBB2 board I want to convert to SMF. I did what I did on all 5 other forums I converted, yet, it won't work. It tells me everything worked, but there are no posts.
The users etc were converted, but the posts weren't.
The original board had a few small mods (mainly stuff like bbcode addons). I reuploaded the whole thing, the old, unmodded files, and tried again, but still, no posts.
Any help would be great, cause this is really frustrating. Thanks!

Hi,

I'm having similar trouble, but with me, it's going from a Mambo SB > Mambo SMF > Joomla SMF.

I get all the members through okay, but the posts and forum categories are nowhere to be seen.

Nope, not with me. with me, I got the Message that everything was successful, but wasn't. That was the problem. anyways, I tried it with version 1.1 RC, and it worked.
