Title: Upgrade from 2.0.11 to 2.1 led to session errors
Post by: wicked1 on January 28, 2016, 01:18:47 AM
Upgraded to 2.1 today and was planning to work on a theme for my site.

Everything seems to be working fine, except my administration error log is showing a ton of errors about sessions.

QuoteUnknown: Failed to write session data (user). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/tmp)
QuoteUnknown: Session callback expects true/false return value
Quotesession_regenerate_id(): Session write failed. ID: user (path: /tmp)
Quotesession_destroy(): Trying to destroy uninitialized session

It looks like I'm missing a tmp folder but I'm not sure where it's supposed to be (the upgrade package didn't come with one that I can see) and I don't see a place in the administration center to adjust the path for the tmp folder. I'm not sure what the other 2 errors mean.

I'd appreciate any guidance to getting this fixed.

Thank you in advance for your help!

did you download 2.1 from github? if not please do and try again as there have been many fixes since beta 2 was released.

This has just been fixed in 2.1 on GitHub.
