Hello SMF developers and community members,
How do I change topic post icons to Font-awesome? These are the icons I mean:
I have a whole bunch of them in the folder named "Topics" (pictured below) I just wish to change a few e.g: hot-topics, normal-posts, polls, sticky-posts icons etc.
I searched the whole SMF folder, tired changing a few icons in MessageIndex.template.php but the icons still remain the same. I know I have to edit the Display.template.php but that means I can only set it to one icon which is not what I want. ::)
As always devs and smf community, any help or guidance will be much appreciated.

It require a mass of changes throughout SMF, more than anyone wants to deal with.
I did this on my forum not too long ago. Took 1 hour of core changes, well worth it. I believe the main places are message, display, and recent templates, alongside source changes.
