Hello guys,
I want to create menu button for faq, help, and recent topic, just next to home button. Also i want to create pages, so that i can add contents and link to these menus. I dont know how to do that . Can somebody suggest me any mod that can do these things in smf 2.0.11.
Thank you
So far as adding buttons is concerned, the following wiki page may be of some help to you: http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Buttons_-_How_do_I_add_buttons_to_SMF_2.0.
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=331 will let you create new pages and add the pages to the menu.
http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=3674 will let you easily add buttons for additional actions. I use a combination of this mod and the one Illori just posted BUT is for SMF 2.0.11.

Thanks illori and aegersz,
The one suggested by illori worked fine for me. But i dont know how to set up 'recent post' menu using those mod. I think it can be done by placing the php code for recent posts in the php section of the mod.
Can you guys suggest me a php code to fetch recent post..!
Thank you
Do you want a whole page just for that? Most of themes bring an option to display some recent posts.
Try navigating to Admin > Configuration > Current Theme and search for "Number of recent posts to display on board index:"

Hi d3vcho,
yes, i want a whole page just for that. It will be very useful for members. But i dont have any idea how to implement it.
what about a page like http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?action=unread;all;start=0 ? this lists all topics the user has not read yet.
Or action=recent
