Where can i find markunread and delete_selected. I can see All the other buttons when browsing but i have never seen those in action :-[ (i do have the gifs, but never actually seen them in use)
You can see the delete_selected button when the checkbox quick moderation is on and you are viewing a topic. The markunread button also appears at the top of the topic display.

markunread doesnt seem to be in a classic theme...
And i wasnt able to vind the quickmod :( man i feel like a noob
Look at "Look and Layout Preferences" under your "Profile" and search for the "Show quick-moderation on message index as" message and activate "checkboxes"... Hope it helps :)
