Title: Simple Machines not sending me a recovery password to my email.

I recently just created a forum, and went to login to my account and found out that the password is wrong. I pressed forgot password and entered my email. SMF said that it will send a link to my email but never did. I've tried a number of times to do this, and no email is coming.  :(

What's going on?

Check spam/bulk/junk folder.

If not your host could have email delivery issues.

It's not in the spam or junk folder.

I will contact my host and ask them what's going on.

It's not my hosters issue.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled other forum software, such as bbPress, phpBB, punBB ect and they all seem to be working fine. No password problems.

That's a shame because i really want Simple Machines because it's easy to use and i am more familiar with it. What's going on? My email is a yahoo account, does that matter?

it is possible you did not change the webmaster email address to be one on your domain and that can cause the email to not be received.
