yeah, i tried something out there with the display. some of you may like it, some of you probabally wont. in that case, you can delete display.template.php, and rename display.template2.php to display.template.php, then, it will look like this:
Display version 2 (http://img495.imageshack.us/img495/5936/display24lr.png)

**update**

added extra buttons in a zip file. has forum, shop, arcade, chat, and all of the hover images. more added on request.

Tip, you never cease to amaze me.  You and bloc have some of the best templates out there!  If Jasidog would create more for SMF, I'd say I'd rank him right up here with you guys as well... Great work man! ;D

Tested it in RC1. Works great so far. No bugs found.  I was wondering, TIP can you make me a forum, arcade, and chat button for the navigation.  Also, can you give us instructions to add them. Seems to me that the rollover is similar to how bloc does his.  But it wouldn't hurt to have good instructions to do it here. thanks! ;D

Im planning on modifying it for a christmas theme! It has the right colors!

This theme is for 1.05 only? Looking at the files it seems its a 1.05 theme.

chat, forum, and arcade buttons attatched to first post. (hover-style included.)

to add the buttons, with a hover effect, you just add srcover="" to the img tag.

just add this..

   echo '
            <a href="link"><img src="' . $settings['images_url'] . '/' . $context['user']['language'] . '/chat.gif" alt="Chat" border="0" srcover="' . $settings['images_url'] . '/' . $context['user']['language'] . '/chat_hov.gif"/></a>', $context['menu_separator'];

Brilliant design!

Also, just wondering if anyone has done "Shop" buttons for the top to go along with "Chat", "Forum" and "Arcade"?

Thanks in advance,

Great theme, I really like it.  It's a shame I'll have to give up this theme when I upgrade to 1.1 RC1.  Looking forward to the 1.1 RC1 version. :)

Lol, I use SMF RC1 1.1 and everything works perfectly fine, check it out.
www.dualrealm.com/smf

I don't find any errors but the only thing I don't like about this theme is the title of the boards. I didn't even notice it before, is there a way I can change it from the silver to a color I want? It's kinda hard to explain so lemme get a picture...

EDIT:nvm, I actually like it after I think about it. Great theme, hope you continue to make good themes like this!

nothing will appear to be wrong, but check your error log. this theme is not compatable with smf 1.1 rc1.

Along with my question there ^^^^

Is there any way someone could make this theme so only categories have the gradient background and not the forum name too ?

Hi, I really like this theme, I have it installed, but just so I am crystal clear on the future of this theme, do you ever plan to upgrade it to the current (or future) releases of SMF? I so far have refused to upgrade and am missing out on the cool mods (ok the pjirc mod), because I am so attached to this theme. (green is my favorite color and this theme uses it well, of course its not just the color but the layout as well that is so unique)

I have read that it sorta works with 1.1RC (or was it rc2?) but that there are errors? What kind of errors? Fatal forum melting errors?

Please consider updating this theme, it really is very nice and I dont want to loose it. Would begging have any effect? :D

Well this seems like a 1.0 theme anyway, it will not function well in 1.1 (most recent version of SMF).
