Title: Too many processes
Post by: L2Scarlet on November 13, 2019, 01:59:49 PM
Yes, you're right and I know that WP is vulnerable as f4ck (everyone is scanning WP websites for xmlrpc and logins, injections, XSS etc.) but at least it is stable on PHP engine. I need a stable forum / website and not something which is not working and I have to work with months to make it working for few weeks?

Look.. how am I supposed to keep my SMF forums when I get these crazy processes ..

Here are your processes:

[root@xxxxxx ~]# ps aux | grep xxxxxx

I split the topic.

Looks like most of your processes are "host", which means DNS lookups. You might want to "Disable hostname lookups".

Also don't have any spam to refreshing chat box/shoutbox type scripts, or eNotify, that won't help your case.
