So I started a fun little project a while ago....
playing around with creating a responsive template
And made a site to list viewing orders for different tv shows/movies
figured a forum would be a nice thing :) to allow others to start discussions about shows/movies/comics/ect
I tore apart the Greeny theme as it's base worked fairly well in matching the style for my site I had created
there are entirely too many mods to list and lots of customization
but one modification thanks to ant :)
the header image will change on certain boards (this was also done to match the main site)
for example arrowverse (http://shadav.com/forum/arrowverse/), mcu (http://shadav.com/forum/mcu/), Stargate (http://shadav.com/forum/stargate/), star trek (http://shadav.com/forum/star-trek/)....these boards have different header images
as always with anything that I do  it's a work in progress (always looking to improve)
but it is to a point that I am content with it and ready for members
any and all feedback is always welcomed
there is also a section to buy/sell/trade for dvd sets, comics, collectables, ect....
the one thing that I'm still not completely happy with is the menu, but meh....
hehehehe and of course the profiles (still working on something better...but as a guest you can't view profiles)
http://shadav.com/forum/
if you'd like to have a look around without registering you can use the test account
username: test
password: TestPassword
as guests can't view
- contact details
- memberlist, groups, or buddies
- see who's online
- view profile summary and stats
- calendar
- attachments
- staff list
- links (directory)
nor can they add or edit events, nor post
Thanks for taking a look and any feedback
For this to be approved, your forum needs to show the unmodified SMF copyright.
thought we were allowed to change it as long as we left the smf link there
I don't particularly want the version to be displayed....
I put back the original.... but please correct me if I'm wrong, I had read (I'll try to find it again) that we are allowed to change the copyright as long as we retain the smf link
so a powered by simple machines (linking to smf) is not allowed?
You don't need to include the version number, but you do need to use theme_copyright(), you can hide the version number from the root index.php so long as you have "SMF" set as the minimum, but having said that you're not gaining any security benefit by hiding it anyways.
You can remove the copyright (although that generally means that you forego support)
You can not ALTER the copyright (except to remove the version number - but doing so the proper way does not change the rest of the copyright)
Everything looks correct now, so this topic has been approved :).

sorry I thought we were allowed to alter it....I had it as
Powered By: Simple Machines © 2020
with it linking to simplemachines.org
my intention was not to remove the copyright, but just to simplify it
but if this is not allowed then I will not do so, I was under the assumption that it was allowed as long as a link remained
but as requested I put it back to the default

thank you
This is an incredible design feature for the sub-boards. I would prolly go a step further and add the "new" icon next to board names that have new content published. And also add a standard width to these box sizes so they look the same.
Nice work on this btw:
