Hello, is there any method to hide section? For example, I want to hide adult section from normal user. If anyone enable 18+ option then he can see adult section. Other forum has this option. Hope smf has has also but I am not getting how to setup it. Please describe. Thank you
you could set up a member group and assign 18+ to it then set the board permissions to only allow that member group access
There was a mod for 1.1.5 that restricted access by age.... but it was never updated for 2.0.x
You might find someone willing to look into modifying it

This. Make the group joinable, job done.
thank you for all who suggest me. But group joining is little hard to find for new users. Is there any option so that I can place a link to join group? so that I can place that url in profile with the name of enable/disable 18+
Or if anyone click on that particular board then it says it is restricted. join group to see the content?
