Is there a mod for SMF that provides for a block of "latest attached images" that can be displayed on the forum index?  Here is an example from another forum software...

I will check out that mod.  FWIW,  something funny is happening here.  I've now come across two editor "issues" out of 5 posts.   :o

I think some or most are addressed here: https://github.com/SimpleMachines/SMF/pull/7497
So hopefully soon they are better.
