No, you're not forgetting something, the search engine functionality in SMF doesn't index content not in the forum itself - and none of the pages mods have rewritten search (because that is what it would take) to make it work.
So I'm going to try to create a topic with the index of the pages, I think it will index indirectly. Thanks Arantor
