Title: Re: Error Message - Database Version doesn't Match SMF Files Version - No Idea Why
Post by: Dzontra on December 06, 2023, 05:51:07 AM
Hey folks, I am facing the same issue since ISP updated PHP version etc.
What should I do to fix the issue that I have? Any advice will be appriciated. Thanks in advance

QuoteOut of range value for column 'HITS' at row 1

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 2.0.17, while your database is at version 2.0.2. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.

I don't think that the aforementioned column is a default smf one. What mods do you have installed?

On a side note, it would be best imo if you upgraded your forum to at least the 2.0.19 version. (preferable to the current latest version, 2.1.4)

1- please don't hijack someone else's thread...
2- your issue is completely different than the original post.
3- that "error message" in 2.0.x and below is a red herring. There were no database changes between 2.0.x versions - so it does not matter if the database was created as 2.0.2 and the current files are 2.0.17...   although your REALLY need to update to at least 2.0.19, if not 2.1.4

4- as Doug points out, the problem is with one of your advert mods. Please follow up with questions in the support thread dedicated to supporting that specific mod.
