Title: Quoting a user with @ as part of a username/display name

Honestly, couldn't describe this well - So the linked message is my bug description.

The notifications for being mentioned wok fine by the way, so it is just the 'quote' display that is acting up  ;)

got it...  the mentions get in the way. Isn't there  code in the mentions file to remove quotes? Also, a bit of lag posting the above three messages.
