Title: How to add a DNS-record for Google's Search Console?
Post by: Dwev on April 18, 2024, 05:24:35 AM
I want to register our SMF-forum on Google Search Console and the instructions state that I should add a code to a TXT or CNAME file, so that the DNS-record can be verified.

I have no idea how to do this, so I hope someone here does.

Talk to your host.  It has to be done at the hosting cpanel not at the smf script level

Thanks, guess that's why I couldn't find anything about it on this forum...   ;)
