Title: Admin Panel Problems
Post by: wizzonli on December 08, 2005, 10:02:42 PM
Well today i installed SMF 1.0.5 on my website. I Installed the forum correctly and i never came across any majour problems until i started installing a number of templates onto the forum.

Whenever i install a new template and set it to default all of the links and text and basically everything else disappears in the admin panel so i need to keep switching back to the original default smf template in order to get the links and text back.

Could someone tell me why this is happening? I've downloaded 3 different templates by 3 different designers and the problem always occurs.

All the help is appreciated, thank you.

Im also getting the follow error message: The default theme's directory is wrong, please correct it by clicking this text.

Im not really sure what that means because i believe the default theme directory is correct.

Anyone know how to fix this problem or atleast make the error message disappear?  :-[
