Title: [Theme] Christmas for SMF1.1RC1
Post by: bloc on December 17, 2005, 07:49:33 PM
Made a christmas theme - sort of - and posting this here now. I hesitated to release it, I am not sure its a true Christmas theme..but someone wanted to use it, so here goes.

It works on SMF1.1RC1 only and currently no demo board is available, but the screenshot pretty much sums it up. :) Graphics are free to use within a SMF context.

All comments are welcome.

That looks really good, If I had 1.1rc1 going I would definaitely use this. I did download it though. Maybe I`ll put it on my home server, thanks.

Very nice Christmas theme Bloc!  :)

Just two things I noticed. You use the default babylon screenshot image and in the message that says "Hey, Username, you have 0 messages, 0 are new." the word 'new' stretches off the image and into the green background. (Using Firefox 1.5)

Probably becuase of the extra links you put up there. Its not so easy to adjust, since the div containing the background picture is above where you inserted the links...

I have the same issue as SamoanOnion with the gap.
I have not added any links near the top but I did notice it is not visible when using Firefox but is pretty distracting when using IE.

I am afraid I won't be working more on this theme..it was a quickly made christmas theme and christmas is soon over anyway....

But the main "look" I will convert into a new theme, and that will have several versions + the usual stuff like news etc.

Same gap as a couple of other people, but only in IE.
