Title: Just one update notifications button...
Post by: klumy on February 24, 2004, 04:04:36 PM
Hi,

isn't it enough, to just have ONE "update notification" button in profile -> notifications settings to set both

another idea would be to also to save "all 3" settings including the "Save settings" with one button.

So you just need to press one button to save all settings on this page. in this case the Button "Save settings" would now replace following buttons:

yes, that's what i thought you meant.  i don't see any reason to use more than one button for the whole page.

It's more themable this way because of the way checkboxes work.

@unknown
Will we see the fast one button solution in the default distribution of SMF?

I would prefer to leave it more themable.  Using javascript one button could be used without decreasing themability, but I really don't see that havibng the three buttons decreases usability.
