This is my third theme.  Viking Brown.  It's a dark theme.  I really liked this one here by Viking Chief.

Easy on the eyes.  But I know there are a lot of dark fand out there so I made this dark version cuz he said I could.

And goto

and from the left of links under Themes select Viking Brown and say change.

See it in action.

It really looks awsome I think.  Let me know what your thoughts.

guests cant see the side bars in tiny portal.  ::)

just give us the url to the demo..instead of making us select it and stuff.

I forgot about that.  So is there a way to enable guests to see that?  Or does that mean I have to leave the default theme Viking Brown all the tiem so everybody can see it?  Unless there is a way to install a seperate SMF with seperate database of course so I can just use it to show skins and stuff.  But not sure if that's allowed. 

I see your link but not sure how you did that.

you can access any theme you want with the url containing the theme's id (unless you dont allow members to select)

like this

http://asitesforum.com/index.php?;theme=*

"*" is the theme's id.

Then where do you allow or not allow members to select themes.  When in the admin section?

allow members to select there own themes?

obviously, it's allowed right now. because i can access any theme i want from your site as a guest through url.

I just fiddled around with that.  That is really cool, thanks.  Now everybody can see all the skins with out me changing my default or installing a new baord just for that. 

Anyway, back to the discussion.  So what do you think of the brown skin?

You have allot of themes on there ;)

Looks nice, I like the black border, gives it a kinda 3d feal...
This image (http://teenlounge.org/smf105/Themes/vikingbrown1/images/icons/folder_open.gif) needs to be replaced, it doesn't look good on the brown background...

Nice skin...I like it very much!!

Donno if i can post the following question here also... but I am tweaking the theme a bit to a size of 85%.... all goes well exept for the menu bar as it is not part of a table that i can re-size and align center....

Any ideas how i can get the menu bar also aligning with the rest of the board and 85% width?

I don't mind.  The original author didn't mind me browning it so I see no reason not to retweek it.

But if I may ask what is the need for making it 85%?  For intergration or to add stuff to the left?
