Title: a good joomla smf bridge
Post by: adamh223 on January 21, 2006, 01:22:23 PM
I recently installed mamba and smf and I tried to bridge them and failed (I used a bridge off of mambaserver.com's project page) due to the fact that when my system makes a new folder it puts it on lock against users so mamba wouldnt be able to create the languages folder for the bridge.  I just installed joomla and I would like to use a easy to install component that works really well and has good security.  Any suggestions?

You're going to have problems, not only with the SMF bridge, but also with any other component that needs to create subdirectories as well.

This will make no difference whether you are using Mamba (sic) or Joomla.
