Post by: internetbrother on January 30, 2006, 03:17:31 AM
I converted successfully. while working on new board a few new users registered in my od forum
and new posts have been sent

How can I transfer the new user and posts?
Do I have to start again?

You will have to convert again, and SMF will overwrite the existing data. Your best option is to put your old board in "offline mode" before you convert so that you don't run into this problem again.

I am working on my new board, converting is easy but there are so many things which should be fixed
for my board which is 3 years old.

1. align tags ( I used some bbcode mods in my previous phpbb)
2. internal link problems ( I have so many of them and it is making me crazy)

Now I am just playing around , going back and forth, experimenting trying to make sure I wont get into a mess.

so my question if even I convert 100 times wil that be OK? there will be no problem?
perhaps a stupid question but it is a question and wanna make sure.

overwrite and overwrite and overwirte... ::)
