The regular profile button appears to be the same as the smaller version...It causes the smaller version to display on the menu.

there are 3 profile buttons.
1- edit_profile.gif <----- Menu.
2- profile_sm.gif <--- IM.
3- profile.gif <---- Message index.
just change the name of the big button. ;)
Ah, missed the edit_profile one. So what's the regular profile.gif button you provided for? It's identical to the profile_sm.gif

Older versions of winzip have trouble opening zip's that use more compression than normal.(which is an option in the newest winzip's)
If you used winzip to zip them be sure to set the compression to normal, otherwise people with other zip programs, or older versions of winzip won't be able to open them.
I had a hell of a time trying to figure out why a zip worked for me, but wouldn't work for one of my beta testers(he reported the exact same error), then it donned on me, I set the compression to the maximum.
Very nice! I have to say I like them, but if you want some constructive feedback:
- I think some icons should be clearer, ie not resized from larger versions
- And this may just my eyes after begin strained but its a tad hard to quickly read trhough pixielised text that happens to be in caps.
(yeah I'm incredibly picky hehe :D)

Thank you so much for the PSD, very nice of you. I have a couple questions. The zip file comes with a file called "Thumbs.db", I have no idea what it is and which application to open it with? Any hints?
By the way, in those *.psd files, did you also make the layer 1 with Photoshop as well? Some short hints would be nice :)

To my knowledge, the Supermod never had any such features. These are not mods, but features added to SMF. The buttons you see are temporary ones from the YaBB SE theme.
So, no, you don't need them for the Supermod, but someone is requesting them because they want to use your buttons with SMF.

The Gimp (GNU-ified) will do a bit of it. That's the best I can come up with, and it's Free (as in speech) as well as free (as in beer). :)

without looking, go under your themes, and then language (i think), and english...there should be a folder in there with similar named icons. You might need to hunt a little because I haven't done it in a few weeks...

It would be "default" as the theme name unless you've created your own. (I think you probably already figured that out though :P )

Correct, it's a button set for YaBBSE so some of the buttons now used in SMF aren't included.

New Topic = new_thread.gif and just needs to be renamed as [Unknown] said. For the +Poll button just use the New Poll button there too, unless your really picky then you will need to create one yourself ;)

hmmm.... I don't remember it's been a while since I've set those up. Do you have a graphics program that has a browse funtion or that you can open all the images in. You can view them all and see what you need then find out what you need to name it and where you need to put it :)

It was actually largely designed by Joseph I believe but I don't know the exact origins. The buttons do look hot in it. :)

The font used in the distribution is slightly different than the one Babylonking used in order for it to work with GD to create all of the image sets in multiple languages.
I noticed that SMF is testing the GD version in the admin center, is SMF using GD? and if so where? I'm working around the LSP/SMF gap till they are bridged and need to create buttons for theme consistency and I really like the default buttons. so can SMF create buttons and captions on-the-fly or?? :P
