I am just finding my way around the admin functions.
How do I edit the forum template and add or remove banners etc like I presently have that were transferred over from my yabbse?

Go into "Theme and layout settings" in the admin center. From there click on the theme that you want to edit in the right box. From there you can modify the template... well you won't be able to modify the default one though, only additional ones.
You can also open index.template.php to modify the template manually, or style.css to modify the colors. They are located in the theme's directory.
