Title: do i need to change to 1.1.3?
Post by: darkpollo on April 13, 2006, 08:43:21 AM
Well, i have got my web working with the smf bridge 1.1.2 and everything is great.
Do i need to update to the 1.1.3?
Why?
Where can i find the features of the new version?

I will lost the discussbot, so i dont find any reason to update. Thanks.

Great work anyway.

actually, on two of my live sites, I am still running 1.1.2.

1.1.3 fixes some minor bugs and adds a bunch of functionality if you are running CB or some other joomla stuff...   it also makes it an easier install (with the system mambot) and adds the capability to sync usergroups from smf to joomla...
Oh yes... and with the info stored in the db now, some people may notice a speed up in their sites...

but, if everything is working with 1.1.2, there is no secruity reason to upgrade.

Ok, thank you very much. I will wait until the new discussbot.

Do you know if i can still use the calendar module with the 1.1.3?

And the others addons (modules etc)?

IN the UPDATED combined readme post, I have included updated versions of the modules that will run with 1.1.3.   You will have to use the updated versions...
