Title: Prev/next bug?
Post by: 7summits on March 26, 2004, 05:03:50 AM
On teh SMF forum, teh prev/next links do not seem to work (anymore?).
QuoteDatabase Error
Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator.

Tried it on many boards/posts

By the way, is there a possibility/mod to disable the prev or next that is not applicable (in the last/first post in a forum)?

You can easily remove it from the Display template.  Fixed.

That was quick; yep it works again.

I did not mean totally disable it in display (or just use the checkbox in admin.
I meant if you are in the oldest post of a board, than the PREV should not be there. Same for the newest post and the NEXT.
Right now you get the following error message when you click in those situations:
QuoteAn Error Has Occurred!
You've reached the end of the topics. You can't go any farther.
Would be nice if the prev or next option that is not applicable would not appear at all.
(Also helps confused people like me who have to think hard about prev meaning the older or newer post every time  ;D)
