Title: Confirmation page
Post by: WhirlWindSpin on April 23, 2006, 05:12:04 PM
I think it'd be nice to have a "Your message has been posted successfully" page show up after you post. =)

How about you set it to redirect back to the post you just posted?

Admin >> Themes and Layout >> Reset Options >> Choose the theme. >> Reset default (guest) options for this theme >> Return to topics after posting by default.

Admin >> Themes and Layout >> Reset Options >> Choose the theme. >> Reset all member's current options for this theme >> Return to topics after posting by default.

Profile >> Look and Layout Preferences >> Return to topics after posting by default.

I prefair to go with the knowledge my message has been posted unless I get a message telling me there was an error. Seriously, what is the point of having to waste a few seconds staring at a page that points out the obvious?

What about a box on the topic page stating that your message was posted succesfully?

^ Just like on Gmail. ;)

Myself, I'd much rather just go back to the posts/threads (depending on my settings) than see a message saying that somethings been done, but if you really want it, couldnt a mod be written?

I think it'd be nice, but not really necessary.
