hi my host wont let me run smf until the lastest version is fixed

"Due to a bug in the SMF RC editions, scripts are causing zombie processes to loop and cause poor service levels. Please do not install the SMF RC edition on our network!

To protect customers, we will have to suspend any website running the RC version."

can anyone tell me when it will be updated so it does not cause zombie processes.

Ask your host what software they are running, I run 1.1 RC2 and have no problems with zombies.

Did you use the workaround stated in the topic you linked to?

That would fix the problem
