Heres the hostname:

dialup-4.245.19.188.Dial1.StLouis1.Level3.net

How do I ban that?

Do I do *.Dial1.StLouis1.Level3.net or what?

And I don't care if I ban other people from that area, I just want him banned for good!

That definatly would ban him and everyone else that uses that ISP in St. Louis!

But as you said you don't care if you ban other people in that area.

I'd first look at other hostnames he has used and then decide what to ban.

He has used:

firewall.lc.cc.il.us

Obiously the level3 one is his 56k

I have a similar problem. Where would I put that information to ban an entire area ISP? Please be VERY specific

But he's been trying to log in from other IP addresses... All with the same chartermi.net

You can probably do:

*.gha.mi.chartermi.net

Or this to be sorta safe:

*.*.mi.chartermi.net
*.mi.chartermi.net

Or this to be really safe:

*.*.*.chartermi.net
*.*.chartermi.net
*.chartermi.net

Admin -> Ban Members -> select hostname -> type that in -> hit save.
