Having got used to IPB skinning system, the SMF one is totally alien to me.
I`m trying to add my drop down menu the SMF forum I just installed. I want to get the forum more less looking like my IPB board before I convert everything over.
Anyways, the part of the drop down I`m trying to add to the index template file including div id

It doesn`t matter where the heck I place this, I get the dreaded parse error. Now like I said I`m completely new to SMF theming/skinning so I may have done something stupid!!
I want the menu to reside at the top of the board. I have added the custom css links to the template index file, which in turn are for the drop down menu.
Do I need to paste the source code for my SMF template?
Thanks.
Escape single quotes ( ' ) with backslashes ( \ ). So change these:
' to these \'
Perfect, thank you.
Easy when you know how :)
