SMF Version: SMF 1.0.7
I'm currently using 1.07 and attempted to upgrade. I did exactly as the instructions stated but when I go to www.mysite.com/forum/upgrade.php I am taken to the screen which gives me the backup options and then when I proceed the upgrade never completes. All that happens is I see a white screen that takes about 2 minutes to finish loading and doesn't proceed to anything else. I just get a blank white page with the following URL: http://www.mysite.com/forum/upgrade.php?step=1&maint=1.
If I attempt to go directly to the site I'm told the forum is upgrading even though it doesn't appear to be doing anything. I've done it twice and the same thing happened both times. I thought it might be this problem (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=100468.0) but I tried this and it doesn't help.

Thank you very much. Changing the timeout to 3 seconds did the trick. I appreciate the help.
