Great job! I use phpBB now, and unless something comes up that will prevent it - I'm going to change.

Nice! That should make my guildmaster quite happy - I know it makes me happy as the guy that has to DO it. I'll experiment with the converting as I get time and hopefully I'll be using SMF for my guild soon.
My main delay has to do with the strengths I see in the forum. Being able to spread the functionality of the forum across the entire guild site is a MAJOR benefit. We have been looking into ways to tie the forum and (homemade) rostering system together. The roster is entirely custom built, and I had not been able to find anything that would allow us to blend everything together. I now have. Thanks, I'll let you know how it goes.

I know Bloc has done some stuff that will be of benefit to gaming / guild sites, in particular.
The rest of the guild site is pretty much custom made, but that looks like it might be handy for another site I'm making - or two.

Hi I'm Kind of new to this so I was wondering how I would be able to add new themes to my forum
Download the theme you want to install, to your computer. (You can find great themes on the themes site (http://themes.simplemachines.org))
Than login as an administrator , go to administration - under
Forum Configuration you will find
Theme and Layout Settings from where you can install any theme you want.
Install a New Theme - > and just upload the theme. ;)

You can have alot of fun , integrating with your custom site, and creating cool things, with your forum and website using the SMF's SSI functions. Just search the site for more about SSI , and read the SSI FAQ'S (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=14906.0)
