i made it so the rows are highlighted if a topic is locked or pinned. does it look too 'wierd'? i might make the locked color darker and less bright, so that it doesn't stand out quite as much.
btw, there's something wrong with my server (it's free hosting) so if the site doesn't work, just try again in a minute.
*edit* while i'm asking for advice, what do you guys think about vbulletin's postbit? i might try doing it that way and removing some clutter from the postbits. I hate how it looks now (the default style)

The header part and the menu bar is awesome. It looks a bit like IPB and i like it. Your catbg image can be further improved, give it a dark shiny effect to it.

Thinking about it, I would suggest keep the hover and loose the colors for sticky and locked threads. But then you would need better icons that are better, and easier to tell apart.

just WOW. the theme looks just great.
The pinned topic color it's not confusing but I can't say the same thing for the locked topic.
The red suggest something like it's important... you should change that.
Other than these, the theme looks great!

thanks for the advice guys, changes have been made according to each of your suggestions. I've added gloss to the catbg (is it blinding you? :D), took out the red and made the text 'unreadable' instead for locked topics.
