if this can be done i think i will be downloading SMF. my current board using vbulletin is down (was on friends server and server went bye bye), i have the backup downloaded tho. can i install SMF and then somehow load all of the forums info into the SMF board from the backup? thanks
Yes, you should be able to. You will need to use one of the converter scripts for SMF. If you use 1.0.7, the converter section in the downloads area will be what you want. If you use 1.1 RC2, you will want the converter from the Converter board in the stickied posts.
