Otsikko: Template parse error
Kirjoitti: jaymo - elokuu 07, 2006, 11:57:21 IP
I'm getting a strange error, when using Simplicity 1.1RC2, I get the following error whenever you click on register:

Lainaa
Template Parse Error!
It seems something has gone sour on the forum with the template system. This problem should only be temporary, so please come back later and try again. If you continue to see this message, please contact the administrator.

You can also try refreshing this page.

It is on a fresh install of both SMF and the theme, I had originaly installed SMF through cPanel's Fantastico, and upgraded to RC2, I got the error there, so I turfed it off and did a manual fresh install of RC2 just to be sure, and still get the same error.

the site is located at http://abcgamers.com/forums

Thanks, If anyone has any Ideas, would be much appreciated.

try switching back to the default theme and see if that will fix it .
sounds to me like the theme you are using is conflicting with the SMF forum .

ya, its strange, its the simplicity theme only, ( http://themes.simplemachines.org/index.php?lemma=10 )works fine on 1.0.7 ( which I've installed instead in another directory). Looking through the Simplicity themes thread I didnt see anyone else having this issue, and its kind of strange that it doesnt kick out any actual error to troubleshoot by, and that it is happening on a 100% clean install with nothing else installed.

I'd perfer RC2 over 1.0.7, if anyone has any thoughts, let me know.
