1) Is it possible to implement that a guest can see the forum (name or even topic titles) but can't read the content of the topic unless he registers?
2) Is it possible to implement that "Who's Online" only show to Admin?
Thank you very much.
I really like SMF.
Something like in Invision Forums.
Regarding your second question, you can make Who's Online for admins only. Just do the following for all groups you want to deny access: Admin Panel > Edit Permissions > Click modify of the group you want to deny access (ie. Unregistered Guests) > General > View Who's Online > Change to Deny (D) > Click Save Changes.
For the first question, there is a mod here which can do it if I remember correctly:

I think the one he wants btang wants is Hide Board. This one allows the user to see all the Board, but when they click on it, if they don't have the right permissions they can't see the Topic titles.

I definitely use it.
Yes but he says he wants the guest to be able to see the topic titles, but not enter
Thanks for both of your mods.
I will try them.

Good idea. Thank you.
No worries!
I am the adminstrator and when I view who is on line, some members display "unknown action"....what does that mean?

Ooops...yes, I use both types of additional permission mods. The permissions themselves are relatively easy to create, but I went with the mods because it also included more informative system messages.
