I am using SMF 1.0.7 and lately I have been having trouble with people joining and then posting nothing but porn ads to my family friendly site. I already have it set that new members having to validate their email but still they join. Is there a way to set the board so that a new member's first post most be approved by a moderator before posting? I have looked all over the admin section but I can't seem to find anything.

I's planned but it won't be in untill the version after 1.1 so it's a while off.

I recommend you disable new topics for members with less than 5 posts.

You could also install the captcha mod to slow down spam bot registrations.
