Otsikko: Unable to load the 'admin_above' template.

SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC2
Hi.

I can't access the ACP on my forum.  I have tried re-uploading and reinstalling the entire SMF package from scratch (it's a new forum, no posts yet, so there were no concerns about that), and then re-uploading the entire themes folder.  Is there something I'm missing, or should I just not be doing this before coffee?

Usually this indicates some files were corrupted. You might want to try another ftp-client to upload the files again.

I tried as you suggested, first with SmartFTP (my preferred client), then FTP Commander, then Filezilla.  Each time, I got the same result -- unable to load the 'admin_above' template.

Can you post a link to your forum please?

Sure.  www.eledanthe.com/smf/index.php

I haven't removed the install script yet, in case i need it again to get this thing up and running.

And thanks for taking the time to help me, and everyone else who comes here looking for help.

Okay, how about if you delete the file /Themes/default/Admin.template.php and upload a fresh copy it? Just the one file. Btw, you can remove install.php, don't think we need it anymore.

Uploading the themes as you suggested worked ... after I made sure I was uploading it in ASCII rather than binary.  Thanks again for your help!
