Otsikko: Quick edit option
Kirjoitti: JoomlaJon - elokuu 17, 2006, 07:18:17 AP
Hello,

Don't know if this been an issue before. Did an serch without finding anything.

When editing a post in quick idet, it would be nice if you could go to advanced edit mode there by a button beside the save and cancel button.

Then perhaps later on... to be able to edit the headlines in listmode. (Where you see all topics in a board). Makes it easy to correct typos and so on. vbull has this like ajax, doubble click and edit, works very well I must say. But a little icon I would be even better, since a doubble click slip up puts you in edit mode. Happens if you have assigned double click to one button for example.

Anything of interest?

:) jon

You can edit the subject of a topic by double clicking the rectangle its contained it (but not on the link itself).  You can go to full edit mod by clicking the Modify link.  Though I don't believe it'll save what you have changed.  Thats a possible addition for the version after 1.1.

IMO adding another icon for subject editting would make the page kinda crowed for an operation that isn't done very often compared to things like posting and reading and such.
