SMF Version: Version not known
I have below mentioned error in the admin section (YabbSE 1.5.5). Because of this error I cannot put my board in maintenance mode, but everything else seems to work fine.
Think it's really time now to upgrade to SMF, but do I have to fix this first? If yes, someone knows how ???

Apparently your /yabbse directory needs to be writable to put your forum in maintenancemode.

How do i use chmod? (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=23690.0?)

But since the server is protected I cannot CHMOD myself using and FTP program. Will contact the server guy. Thnx for the help!
