I went here http://themes.simplemachines.org/ and downlaoded the 'jewels' theme for my site. I installed it through the Admin. CP and it looked really nice, then i scrolled down and saw this....Sorry, the copyright must be in the template.
Please notify this forum's administrator that this site is using an ILLEGAL copy of SMF!
i switched back to default, is there a way to fix this and use the theme?
try manually uploading the files overwriting the old version
You installed the wrong version of the theme you need. If you have 1.0.7 and installed the theme version 1.0.5 then you usually get that error.

I can't speak for the theme creator, but it might be a slip-up. The download seem to be for 1.1RC2 only, and not 1.0.7. Then , as mentioned, the theme will give errors when used on an earlier version of SMF.
