This isn't exactly an smf question, but I'm using smf and I'm trying to get my logo up. I edited it on photoshop cs (it contains about 3 digital photos). The problem is the file saves at about 1.1MB which is WAY too huge. Is there a way to save it as a .jpeg file or something? It didn't give me the option when I went to save it. Thanks. I'd really appreciate any help.

instead of going to save go to save as and in the drop down box where the extensions are you will see jpg

or if you have less than 256 colours, use GIF.

I'm pretty sure I went to save as and didn't see any .jpeg option. I'll look again when I get home, but I'm pretty sure. Could it have anything to do with the image I edited? It had a few layers and digital photos.
-About GIF, wouldn't a banner with photos in it stay better quality with jpeg? I want it to look as clear as possible.

In that case, yes, JPG would be the thing to use.
