SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC2
Is it going to be hard to upgrade from 1.1rc2 to 1.1rc3?
I have 60+ mods installed.
What would be the best way to continue?
Do I have to upgrade?
If I should, what do I need to do first?
If you have the latest versions of php you should be fine to stay with RC2 for now until your mods are compatible. If not you should upgrade as RC3 fixes a security hole caused by php.
When the mods are compatible you can just overwrite all files and then install the mods again.

60+ mods? I didn't even think there where that many on the mods page!
I think you will be waiting a while, that is a crazy amount of mods to run on ANY forum system.
I also advise anyone who runs a system with more than a few (1 or 2) mods to TEST the upgrade on an identical copy of SMF before doing it on the running system.
I have about 6 mods on my site and I'm going to wait until updates for all of them area available for rc1.3.
Oopps... my bad, I have more... lol

Wow. How do you manage that without them conflicting with each other?

A lot of time and customization! lol
So I should wait on installing this?
As I said earlier:
